A list of the top 5 sleepers this week that woke up.

In this season of fantasy football there have been many sleeper players. Sleeper players are starting players who have not done well so far this year but are bound to do well. Here is a list of the top five sleepers who finally woke up.

Arian Foster. (Before his big game yesterday Foster has been a dismal player to have in fantasy football. Foster rushed for 102 yards and also had 69 receiving yards and a touchdown.)
2.       Le’Veon Bell. (This was Bell’s first regular season start and it was a big one! Bell rushed for 57 yards carrying two in for touchdowns. Bell also had four receptions for 27 yards.)
3.       Tony Gonzalez. (Gonzalez has not been really productive this season. However last night he had a game he will never forget. Gonzalez had 12 receptions for 149 yards including two touchdown receptions.)
4.       Reggie Wayne. (For the past two weeks Wayne has been very disappointing for fantasy owners. This week he was back to his normal self catching 5 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.)
5.       Torrey Smith. (Torrey has been very consistent putting up okay numbers for a wide receiver flex player. However he was expected to be a starting wide receiver this year since he is the first string receiver for the Baltimore Ravens. This week he took his role as the starting wide receiver. Smith had a big day with 5 receptions for 166 yards and had one receiving touchdown.)

The basics of Fantasy Football

I know in the beginning Fantasy Football seems confusing to those who do not play. However it is a very easy game to pick up that everyone can enjoy. Today I am going to discuss the basics of how to play fantasy football. The first thing you do after you create your own team is enter the league draft. Their are usually 10 to 12 teams that enter your leagues draft. The draft concist of 16 rounds were each round you pick the best suited player for your team. After you completed your draft you have 16 players that you can work with. You have nine starting players and seven bench players. You have seven bench players just incase any of your nine starters get hurt you will be able to replace them. Your nine starting players will consist of a quarterback, two running backs, two wide recievers, a tightend, a flex player which can either be another running back or wide reciever, a defense, and a kicker. Each week your players will be stacked up against another member's starting team. During that week both your team and your opponents team players will play on their actual NFL teams game. They are given fantasy points when each individual player does something well. For example a quarterback throws for a touchdown or one of your running backs runs for a towchdown. Your players are rewarded points after they do something well during their NFL game. After all of your players and your opponents players have played the scores are totaled and who ever has the most points in the end wins that week in fantasy football. And this continues through out the season. The goal of fantasy football is to be able to pick the best individual players that will help you win each week.
